Larry Richard Sloan, 78, of Woodruff, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his residence. Born in Spartanburg, SC on January 5, 1940, a son of the late Richard Kermit and Elizabeth Rosemele (Roberts) Sloan and was the husband of the late Mrs. Joyce Della (McMahan) Sloan. Mr. Sloan served in the United States Navy and worked as a cabinet builder.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Tracy Renee Haddy Tomberlin and her husband, Lance of Moore, South Carolina; one great granddaughter, Maggie Tomberlin; one sister, Billie Clark and two nieces, Jessie Clark and Maggie Moore.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracy Haddy.
