Larry Wayne Miller, 54, of Hilton Head Island passed away Monday, June 11,2007. He lost his courageous seven month battle with lung cancer.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was the husband of Dianne Workman Miller and the son of John A. and Iris Miller of Spartanburg. He was a 35 year employee of Bellsouth Telecommunications and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter; Melanie M. Greene and husband Joel of Spartanburg and a son, Tyson P. Miller and wife Lindsay of Hilton Head. He is also survived by three sisters, Sandy Henson and husband J.D. Henson, Judy Lawson and husband Ernie all of Spartanburg, and Darla Thomas and husband Joe of Almond, N.C.; two grandchildren, McKenna and Walker Greene of Spartanburg. Visitation will be held at Seawright Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13,2007 at 10:00 am at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Sam Hammett. Mausoleum entombment will be private.
