Larry Benson Hicks, 71, of 1705 Skylyn Drive, Spartanburg, and formerly of Inman, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Larry was born in Inman on June 6, 1944, a son of the late Frances Geneva (Owens) and John Thomas Hicks, Sr.. He had worked as a barber and was a member of Inman United Methodist Church. He was survived by a brother; John T. Hicks, Jr, a niece; Ashley Hicks, nephew; Trey Hicks (Vickie), a great niece; Simran Hicks, and two great nephews; Thomas and Wyatt Hicks, all of Inman. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29th, with Rev. Mitch Crow officiating. Private burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
