Larry Darnell Gilliam, Sr., 60, of 101 Henry Lane, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Larry was born in Weirton, West Virginia on December 14, 1957, a son of the late Alonzo and Willie Ingram Gilliam. Mr. Gilliam was a United States Navy veteran and a retired employee of Gilliam Enterprises. Larry is survived by four sons, Ahmad Gilliam and his wife, Corinne; Larry Darnell Gilliam, Jr., and his wife, Hope; Marion Gilliam and Christopher Fester; five sisters, Cynthia Coons, Sylvia Mills and her husband, Perry, Brenda Young and her husband, Johnson, Renee Walker, Joy Gilliam Grim, a brother, Anthony Gilliam and his wife, Jean and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 2, 2018, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
