Larry William Babs

Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, 26 E. Main Street, Inman, South Carolina, for Larry William Babs, age 49, who died on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at his residence in Lafayette, Louisiana. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Seawright Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Miranda Dill Babs; his three sons, Spencer Dean Babs, Stephen Paul Babs, and Zachary Conner Babs; his mother, Norma Clary Babs; and his half brother, Eric Clary. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Babs. A native of Inman, South Carolina, and a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana since February 2015, Larry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a Flight Line Quality Manager for Boeing, having worked with them for the last 6 six years. Following the funeral service, a celebration of Larry's life will be held at the home of Dennis McBride, 324 Oak Grove Drive, Landrum, SC 29356.
