Kevin (Kevie) Greene

Kevin Alan "Kevie" Greene, 65, of 123 Harvest Ridge Drive, Inman, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Kevin was born in Spartanburg on October 31, 1953, a son of Bobby Vance Greene, of Spartanburg, SC and the late Myrna Jean Rogers Greene.
He was the husband of Janis Burgess Greene and retired as a cable repair technician for Bellsouth. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. He was a member of Communications Workers of America and enjoyed being "Dumpy" for his grandchildren and being involved in their activities. Kevie graduated from Dorman High School and honorably served in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by his step mother, Martha Greene of Spartanburg, two sons; Jake Greene of Spartanburg, Daniel Greene and his wife, Megan of Roebuck, one daughter; Kasey Greene of Spartanburg, two sisters; Linda Stone of Spartanburg, Ann Burgess of Boiling Springs, his grandchildren; Brianna, Francie, James, Landon, Kaden, Emma, Ella, Taytum, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 29th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman with Rev. Phil VanderPloeg, Rev. Jack Dodds and Rev. Steven Owensby officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the the service at the funeral home.
