 Kenneth "Pete" Waldrop, 86, of 715 Windmill Hill Road, Inman, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home. 
Pete was born in Polk County, NC on December 13, 1936, a son of the late Alma Evelyn Greene Waldrop and Glen Waldrop. He was the husband of Jo Ann Brown Waldrop.
He retired from TimBar and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church where he was a member of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. 
In addition to his wife, Pete is survived by a daughter, Yvette (Mike), a son, Edward, a step daughter, Tonya, two sisters, Mavis (Dean), Sandra (Jerry), five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30th at Inman Mills Baptist Church in Inman  with Rev. Jack Hames and Rev. Travis Smith officiating. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post #45. There will be no visitation, the body will lie in state 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Serving as pallbearers are; David Johnson, Eddie McClure, Zane Barnett, Paul Pace, Ray Varner, and Harold Page.
Private Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Inman. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
