Inman, SC---Mr. Kenneth Berley Solesbee, 48, of 2030 Ballenger Road, Inman died Saturday, July 26th, 2008 in Cherokee County, SC following an accident.
Mr. Solesbee was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 1, 1959, the son of the late Berley M. and Sadie Sims Solesbee. He was the husband of Mary Allison Solesbee.
He was a superintendent at Solesbee Construction Company and was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church. He had also served in the Army National Guard.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a step-son, Allen Dover of Gaffney, a step-daughter, Connie Bayne of Blacksburg, a brother, Jason Solesbee and his wife Amy of Wellford, a sister, Patsy Bishop and her husband David of Wellford, three grandchildren, Kisha Dover, Samantha Grigg, Jeremy Bayne, a nephew, Travis Bishop and a niece, Cheryl Bishop.
Funeral services will be held at Little Mountain Baptist Church, at 11:OOam on Wednesday, July 30th, conducted by Rev. Ansel Norris, Rev. Josh Phillips and Rev. Talmadge Parris. Burial will follow in Little Mountain Baptist Church cemetery.
The family is at the home of his sister at 1750 Inman Rd., Wellford and will receive friends Wednesday 10:00-11:00am and following the interment service at Little Mountain Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Mountain Baptist Church Building Fund, 1302 Little Mountain Rd. Inman, SC 29349 or Gaffney Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, 187 Whelchel Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
