Kenneth Perry Price, Jr, 65, of 553 Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Kenneth was born in Forks, Washington on July 19, 1948, a son of the late Lulu Loreene (Nagel) Price and Kenneth Perry Price. He was the husband of Rosalinda Mae (Tushoski) Price. He worked as a timber cutter in Washington and retired from Bi-Lo Foods. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Melissa Cunningham, of Spartanburg; two sons Clifford Cunningham, of Spartanburg; Jason Cunningham, of Fallon, NV, a brother, Dennis Price of Washington and 5 grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross With Palm Unit Citation Badge, Vietnam Service Medal With Three Bronze Service Stars, Army Commendation Medal With First Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, 2 Overseas Bars and Sharpshooters Badges for the M-14 and M-16. A military honors service will be held at 600 Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2014.
