Willard Kenneth Higgins, 72, of Campobello, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum.
Kenneth was born in Spartanburg on May 14, 1946, a son of the late Ruby Floyd Higgins and Willard Dewey Higgins and was the husband of Rosemary Zwickl Higgins. He retired from construction and had served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, Spartanburg County Baptist Network, SC Baptist Disaster Relief, and other church activities.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Missy Lark and her husband Don of Inman; three sons, Kenny Higgins and wife Christy of Landrum, Bryan Higgins and wife Amber of Wellfleet, NE, Travis Higgins and wife Taylor of N. Platte, NE; a sister, Brenda Kimmons of Inman; a brother, Bennie Higgins of Stephenville, TX; grandchildren, Phillip Lark, Caroline Lark, Josh Higgins and his wife Kelsey, Jenna Higgins, Jordan Higgins, Cameron Berliner, Brody Berliner, Cole Higgins, Charlotte Higgins; great grandchildren, Rylan Higgins and Westlyn Higgins. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Howard Higgins. The family is at the home of his sister, Brenda Kimmons, at 10218 Asheville Highway, Inman and will receive friends on Monday, November 19, from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at Rock Hill Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow the visitation at the church at 4:00 conducted by Rev. Billy Rice.
