Kenneth Wayne Denton, 76, a native of Inman, SC, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Born on February 22, 1941 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late William B. and Elizabeth Allen Denton. He left a loving family with a wonderful legacy of a simple faith in Jesus Christ. He was the husband of Nancy Ann (Cannon) Denton, a member of Hope Church and was a U. S. Army veteran and served in the SC National Guard. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Kathy Gehly, Kenneth Denton, Jay Denton, Chris Bagwell, Todd Chapman, brother, Don Denton, 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his precious pup, Maggie. A celebration of Ken's life will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hope Church located at Hwy 176 and John Dodd Road. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or New Life Nicaragua, C/O Chris and Tim Bagwell. 104 Beechwood Dr, Inman, SC 29349.
