Keegan Isaiah Reicos Johnson, 17, of 201 Foster Mill Circle passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Children's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 23, 2002, he was a son of Joey and Allison (Johnson) Miller.

Keegan was a former student at Chapman High School and currently an 11th grader at Dorman High School. Keegan played both baseball and football for the Chapman Panthers and the Dorman Cavaliers. He also attended Lake Bowen Baptist Church, Anderson Mill Baptist Church and the Fuse Group at NewSpring Church.

In addition to his mother, Allison, and his father, Joey, he is also survived by two brothers, Kayden Miller and Kamdyn Miller both of the home; two half brothers, Jaden and Elijah Copeland of Duncan, South Carolina; his papa, Ray Johnson of Inman, South Carolina, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tom Gruenthal of Inman, South Carolina and Aunt Jen and Uncle Wes Lindner of LaGrange, Kentucky along with five cousins, Elizabeth Etchinson of Greer, South Carolina, Christopher Greene and family of Pickens, South Carolina, Sadie Grace, Huddy Buddy and Rangie Lindner all of LaGrange, Kentucky, and a cousin dog, Puzzle; his Godparents Tim & Anna Tucker of Inman, South Carolina and special friends Nathan Worthy and Kamden Shipman.
He was predeceased by his nana, Mary Johnson and his uncle Lyn Etchison, who lovingly called him Tubby, and a cousin dog, Believe.

Keegan loved sports, especially football, baseball, and basketball. He had a big beautiful smile that lit up the world. He gave the best hugs. He had great pride for both D1 and D6. He had his own style and was friends with everyone. He loved cheering on the Clemson Tigers and his favorite football player, hero, and cousin, Charone Peake.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church, 404 Sugar Ridge Road, Inman, SC 29349. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Atkins and Rev. Kenny McDowell, Rev. Kevin Harrison, Rev. Reid Bowyer and Coach Mark Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: D6 Cavs, PO Box 170386, Spartanburg, SC 29301 or to the Meyer Center, 1132 Rutherford Road, Greenville, SC 29609. Special thanks to SRMC EC, Dr. Mina, SRMC PICU, GHS Children's Hospital PICU, Dr. Seigler, Dr. Justin Holliday, Dr. Troup, Dr. Avant, Dr. Lecroix, Dr. Taft; also to GHS PICU nurses, respiratory care, Chaplain Patrick, and Child Life Specialists Kristen & India for the amazing care over the past few days.

The family has graciously allowed the opportunity for any friends to write a message on Keegan's casket, to do so at Seawright Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
