Kathryn June Hembree

Inman, SC--- Kathryn June Solesbee Hembree, 81, of 190 Seigle Drive, Inman, SC, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum, SC. Born in Gowansville, SC on March 28, 1935, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (McClure) Solesbee and was the wife of Franklin D. Hembree. Mrs. Hembree was a graduate of Gowensville High School, retired from Phillips Fibers and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband Franklin, she is survived by a son, Marty Hembree of the home; a daughter, Cathy Hall and husband Wayne of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Jessie Mae Jennings of Landrum, SC; four grandchildren, Matthew Hall, Jeremy Hembree, Angela Hembree and Christy Hembree and seven great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by two sons, Keith Hembree and Dale Hembree along with six brothers and three sisters. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 1-2 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC.
