Kathleen Belcher Watson

Kathleen Belcher Watson, 89, formerly of 111 Watson Road passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Valley Falls Terrace. Mrs. Watson was born in Greenville, S.C. on October 4, 1927, a daughter of the late Ralph Jackson and Grace Isabell Williams Belcher. She was the widow of Louis Marcella Watson. Mr. Watson passed away on March 12, 2016 on their 73rd Wedding Anniversary. Now they are reunited and will be together for eternity. Mrs. Watson retired from textiles and had been a faithful member of Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg since 1961. Mr & Mrs. Watson later joined Cudd Memorial Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her son, Sam Watson and his wife Pam of Spartanburg, a daughter Becky Watson of Inman, SC and a sister, Margie Kirkus of Greenville, SC. There are seven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was predecesed by a daughter, Rachel Ivey and a brother, Aromus Belcher.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 16, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:20 AM. at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 11:30 AM with Rev. Jack Dodds and Rev. Ronnie Norris officiating. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Boiling Springs, SC.
