Landrum, SC--Kathleen Rhymer, 77, formerly of 5960 N. Hwy. 14, Landrum, SC, passed away Monday, April 29th, at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman.
Born in Spartanburg, SC on June 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Wilbert Eugene and Annie Mae (Johnson) Blackwell and was the wife of the late Robert Lee Rhymer.
She was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church and worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Lee Rhymer and his wife Judy of Landrum; a daughter, Rita Blanton and her husband Marvin of Boiling Springs; three brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren, Keirstin Blanton and Barrett Blanton. She was predeceased by one daughter, Brenda Kay Rhymer and two grandchildren, Randall Rhymer and Toni Early.
Graveside services will be held at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Owenby officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
