Katherine "Kathy" McKee Johnson

Spartanburg, SC---Katherine (Kathy) McKee Johnson, 72, of 1600 Bethpage Drive, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday,December 8, 2014 at Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care. Katherine (Kathy) was born in Walhalla, SC on April 23, 1942, a daughter of the late James Lee and Mozelle Lytle (Garland) McKee. She was the widow of George Lee Johnson, was a former co-owner of Spartan Bakery and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa J Davis, of Spartanburg; five sons Dr Terry Pleasant (Sonya), of Campobello; Scott L Pleasant (Diane), of Spartanburg; Watson E Johnson (Traci), of Inman; Joshua L Johnson and fiance' Meagan Wilson, of Spartanburg; George L Johnson, III, of Spartanburg, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Corrie McKee. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Wednesday 6:00 — 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck, SC, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 11th, with Dr Terry Pleasant officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, 810 Maxwell Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646. To Mr. Lance Stevens, a very close friend to the family and our mother.
