Katherine Buskirk Blevins

Katherine (Kay) Buskirk Blevins, 85, of Lyman, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence. 

Born in Akron, Ohio on January 15, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. Buskirk and Mary Florence (Darnell) Buskirk and was the wife of the late Earnest Lee Blevins.

She is survived by two daughters, Kim Blevins Booth of Duncan, South Carolina and Renee L. Deason and her husband Tim of Lyman, South Carolina and one son, Craig E. Blevins and his wife Judy  of Tampa, Florida and a daughter in love Sherri Smith along with 5 grandchildren, Holly Booth Novotny, Amanda J. Walsh, Norman R. Briggs, Benjamin L. Briggs, Brittney Deason Newman and 7 great-grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by two grandchildren, Richard A. Booth, and Angie Smith, and her life companion, James C. Hankins  

The family will conduct a memorial service on February 11, 2023 at her home.
