Justin Coley Motes, 43, of 522 Laurel Crest Drive in Inman, passed away Wednesday, January 28th, at Spartanburg Medical Center, from injuries received in an accident.
Justin was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 29, 1982, a son of Jacqui Tucker Sellers, of Inman and Jewayne Motes.
He had been a firefighter with Hilltop Fire Department, Gowensville Fire Department, and Duncan Fire Department.
in addition to his parents, he is also survived by a daughter, Kayleigh Motes of Pacolet, a son, Liam Motes of Boiling Springs, a brother, Joshua Evan Motes (Samantha) of Cowpens, a sister, Carrie Beth Motes (Nashaun Thompson) of Spartanburg, his maternal grandmother, Thelma Tucker of Boiling Springs, a niece, Makiya Motes of Inman, and two nephews, Trenton Motes of Inman and Jeremiah Jones of Spartanburg.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman with Rev. John Petty officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM prior to the service.
