Junior Riley Andrews

Junior Riley Andrews, 77, of 1510 Settle Road, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Junior was born in Inman, S.C. on January 13, 1940, a son of the late Riley and Bonnie (Jenkins) Andrews. He was the husband of Peggy (Parris) Andrews, was the owner and operator of Andrews Drywall and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and the church food pantry team. In addition to his wife, Junior is survived by a daughter, Regina Andrews, of Inman; a son, Scott Andrews, of Inman, two sisters, Dorothy Peay and Earline Cothran and husband Leroy, sister-in-law, Catherine Andrews, two grandchildren, Chelsie Andrews and Brandy Gilbert, four great grandchildren, Mason McCollum, Riley Pitts, Carley Thompson and Landon Thompson. He was predeceased by a son, Tony Andrews, a sister, Helen Bradley, his twin sister, June Henson and three brothers, Odel, Willard and Ray Andrews and a special cousin, Odell Sawyer of Irwin, TN. He served in the U.S. Air Force. The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday 6:00 — 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Inman Mills Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 1st, with Rev. Jack Hames and Rev Todd Cothran officiating.Serving as pallbearers will be Mikey Hall, Casey Hall, Travis Cothran, Ed Huffman, Mickey Smith and Steve Petty. Honorary pallbearers will be his Wednesday and Sunday night "church buddies". Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman Mills Baptist Church Food Pantry, 22 B St., Inman, SC 29349 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave., Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
