June Irene Morris, 79 of Spartanburg, passed away Thursday, April 2nd, at Regional Hospice Home, S.C. She was born in Landrum on December 20, 1935, a daughter of the late Juanita Genelle (Hill) and Andrew Bartley Dixon and was the widow of Carl Wilson Morris. She was a homemaker and a member of Carlisle Wesleyan Church. She is survived by two daughters; Cathy Cogdill (Steven) and Carla Barnes both of Spartanburg; one son; Andy Morris (Tina) of Spartanburg; one brother; Mickey Dixon (Annie) of Inman; two sisters; Betty Jo McClure (Gary) of Landrum, Toni Martin (Bobby) of Inman; four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter; Debra Reed and a sister; Sarah Lee Peeler. The familiy is at the home and will receive friends Saturday 2:30 until 3:30 at Carlisle Wesleyan Church. A graveside service will be held at Carlisle Wesleyan Church Cemetery, ( 3250 Old Furnace Rd., Chesnee, S.C. 29323) at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 4th, with Rev. Mike Stepp officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Carlisle Wesleyan Church Building Fund, PO Box 160215, Boiling Springs, S.C. 29316.
