Judy Ann Burton
On Thursday, January 21, 2021, Judy Ann Singleton Burton of Inman, SC was ushered into the presence of Jesus as she took the hand of her beloved late husband, William Donald Burton.
Judy was the daughter of the late Eugene P. and Lee Ann Singleton of Barnwell, SC and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sherry Ann Burton Holt (Michael) of Hartsville, SC and Brandy Donyelle Burton Wilkins (Walt) of Greenville, SC; the lights of her life, her grandchildren, Annabelle Burton Holt, Michael Shea Holt Jr., Mary Burton Wilkins, William Walter (Walt) Wilkins IV, and Donald McCoy Wilkins. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Poore (Melvin) and Cathy Still (Jeffrey), her beloved nieces and nephews, and her friends Mary Metcalf Owens, Susan Metcalf McAbee, and their families.
Judy was a member of Inman First Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the Agape Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Barnwell High School and Anderson University and retired from Spartanburg School District 1. Judy loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite pastime was watching her grandchildren in all their many extracurricular activities. She was by far their biggest fan.
A private graveside service honoring Judy's life will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Dr. Paul Moore. The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House.
