Judy Ann Brown

Judy Ann Brown, 79, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at her residence.

Judy was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on September 25, 1946, a daughter of the late Alfred Milton Phelps and Annie Bell (Webb) Phelps and was the wife of Johnny Mack Brown.

She was a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by daughter, Crystal Brock and her husband Joshua; son, John (Bubba) Brown and his wife Shelly; daughter, Kimberly Patty; son, Dwayne Brown and his wife Kelly; one brother, Eddie Phelps and nine grandchildren, Lathan Stokes Brecken Brown, Sidney Stokes, Dakota Brown, April West, Kayla West, Corey Brown, Krista Cowart and Heather Brown.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Ted Phelps and George Sawyer and two sisters, Vicki Bryant and Barb Tilley.

A Memorial Service will be held by the family at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church with Mr. Eddie Phelps officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
