Joyce Della (McMahan) Sloan, 81, of 6779 Reidville Rd. passed away Saturday, January 21st, at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Sloan was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Harvey and Pearl (Dotson) McMahan. She was the wife of Larry Richard Sloan for over 36 years and worked as a caregiver at Midway Boarding Home for over 25 years. She loved to sing country music and enjoyed telling jokes.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Tracy Haddy of Greer, SC and Scott Haddy of North Carolina, a granddaughter Renee Haddy of Reidville, SC, three nephews, Rick McMahan of Chesnee, SC, George Blick of Va. and Mike McMahan of Orlando, Fl. She was predeceased by five sisters, Barbara Taylor, Ruby Blick, Peggy McMahan, Margie McMahan, Floy Clark and two brothers including Defoy McMahan.
No funeral services are planned.
