Joyce Burrell Simpson, 74, of 63 Blackstock Road Inman, went to be with the Lord Monday, October 2nd, at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
Joyce was born in Campobello, on July 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Nancy Lenard Clayton Burrell and Hilliard Taft Burrell.
She was a life long seamstress and was a charter member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Ravan (Roger) of Inman, a son, Patrick Simpson (Frankie) of Campobello, a brother, Nelson Burrell of Rock Hill, a sister, Betty Emory of Inman, two grandchildren, Emily Ravan and Jacob Simpson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Howard Burrell.
The family is at the home of her daughter at 167 Inman Rd. and will receive friends Thursday 10:00 until 11:00 am at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5th, with Brother Michael Owenby officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jackson Memorial Baptist Church 8925 SC 11 Campobello, SC 29322.
