Joyce Cothran Johnson

Joyce Cothran Johnson, 90, formerly of Spartanburg passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Brookstone Terrace in Woodruff, South Carolina.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on August 29, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Cothran and Lois Wright Cothran and was the wife of the late William Boyd Johnson.

She worked as a RN and later was a homemaker. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed tennis, Bridge and was the Captain of her high school basketball team.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela D. Johnson and Trina Johnson Stapleton and her husband Chris; two grandchildren, Steven Bosler and his wife Bridget and Leona Snowe and two great-grandchildren, Charlie Grace Bosler and Joseph Boyd Bosler.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by her brother, Bobby Cothran.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina.
