Joyce Turner Evington

Joyce Turner Evington, 92, of 916 Wesley Court Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Wesley Court Assisted Living. 

Born in Green Creek, North Carolina on January 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Turner and Gertrude Jolley Turner and was the wife of the late James Evington.  

She was a member of Gramling United Methodist Church and worked many years at Drayton Mills.   

She is survived by one son, Roger Ezell and his wife Myria and one daughter, Linda Hamrick; one brother, Charles Turner along with five grandchildren, Adam Ezell (Stephanie), Savannah Sullivan (Keegan), Bailey Ezell, Lauren Hamrick Welchel (Matthew), Landen Hamrick (Lexie) and three great grandchildren, Madden Welchel, Leyland Welchel and Maven Welchel.  

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Mitch Crow officiating.

Burial will be in Gramling United Methodist Church Cemetery.
