Mr. Joseph Dean Price, 59, of 1441 Hannon Rd. Inman went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 22nd, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Price was born in Macon, GA on December 24, 1948, the son of the late Joe J. and Rebecca (Grace) Price. He was the husband of Jane (Strother) Price for 30 years.
He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was a member of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. He was also an ordained Lay Minister in the Methodist Church.
After graduating from Clemson University in December of 1973 with a Masters of Science Degree in applied Mathematics, he went to work for Milliken and Company where he was employed until retiring in July of 2007.
In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by six wonderful children, Mary Beth Price of Inman, Rebecca Lynn and her husband Casey of Simpsonville, Joseph Price and his wife Sasha of Inman, Miriam Price, Nathan Price, Nicholas Price all of the home, and his father-in-law Robert Strother of Spartanburg.
Funeral services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 3PM on Tuesday, March 25th, with Rev. Tim Clark, Rev. Chris Jackson and Rev. Joseph Cummings officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 25th, from 2-3PM at Holly Springs Baptist Church.
