Joseph Franklin Hawkins, 48, of 209 Fern Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, January 28th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Joseph was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 23, 1963, the son of Carolyn Earlene (Higgins) Smith of Moore, SC and the late Thomas Franklin Hawkins.
He was the husband of Alecia (Price) Hawkins, was formerly employed at Adidas and Fed Ex Logistics and was a member of Hillside Baptist Church where he served as deacon.
Joseph is survived by
two daughters, Heather Shields and husband Josh of lnman, SC;
Holly Lawter and husband Jay of Spartanburg, SC, and a brother, Gary Hawkins, of Inman, SC, an adopted brother, Terry Jennings and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Carroll Hawkins.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31st, with Rev Jimmy Benfield and Rev Jay Lawter officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
