Joleen C Waldrop

 Joleen Waldrop, 71, of 59 Blackstock Road Inman, passed away Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at Lake Emory Post Acute Care. 

Joleen was born in Spartanburg on August 17, 1953, a daughter of Ruby Gray Thomas, of Inman and the late William Moore. She was the widow of Tommy G Waldrop.

She was a homemaker and a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Candy Abrams and her husband, Robert, of Inman, a son, Richard Wilkie and his wife, Larissa, of Dacusville, SC, a brother, Jack Cartee of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Macon Wilkie, Meredith Wilkie, Summer Truesdale (Colton), Morgan Lawter (Jake Hamrick), Brandon Bell (Terra), Jon Bell (Christa), Emily Bell, Ben Abrams, and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Truesdale, Ophelia Bell, and Henson Bell. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased a sister, Carolyn Scates, a brother, Edward Cartee, and a nephew, Kevin Scates.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman with Rev. Monty King officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service. Serving as pallbearers are Richard Wilkie, Wally Mabry, Tommy Carey, and Eston Graham.

The family would like to thank the staff of Family Hospice and Lake Emory Post Acute Care for their care and kindness.
