Inman, SC---Johnny Ray Walker, 76, of 217 Homer Johnson Ct. Inman, SC, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. Born in Polk County, NC on May 31, 1941, he was a son of the late George Austin and Maybelle (McDowell) Walker and was the husband of 51 years to the late Catherine (Hembree) Walker who predeceased him in January 2018. Mr. Walker served in the United States Air Force and retired from UPS after 40 years of dedicated service and was a member of the Teamsters. He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Trainor (David), of Lyman; Kelly Kisner (Andy), of Florida; two brothers, Charles Walker of Texas and Billy Walker of Louisiana; five sisters, Libby Phillips of Easley, SC, Peggy Eddy of Columbia, SC, Elaine Edwards of Boiling Springs, SC, Carolyn Toney of Mill Springs, NC and Judy Huntsinger of Mill Springs, NC; four grandchildren, Donald Ray Brenner, Delaney Page Wyatt, Jordan Shayne Wyatt and Gabriel Brett Wyatt and one great-grandson, Jacob Bennette Seymore. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Walker and Douglas Walker. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 4:00-4:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 5:00 PM with Rev. Ed Stallworth officiating. Following the service the family receive friends at the home, 217 Homer Johnson Ct., Inman, SC 29349 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman United Methodist Church, 27 Bishop St. Inman, SC 29349 or American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
