Mr. Johnny Melrose Sloan, 71, of 1180 Midnight Rd. Inman passed away Thursday, July 30th, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Sloan was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 16, 1938, the son of the late Melrose and Pauline (Bruce) Sloan and the widower of Ethel Mosley Sloan.
He is survived by 1 sister: Polly Ann Clayton of Holly Springs, 1 granddaughter: Kristie Lamb and husband Travis and 2 great, grandchildren: Johnathan and Brittany Lamb.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator, was a member of Green Point Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Army.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Green Point Baptist Church Building Fund ,1391 Rainbow Lake Road, Inman, SC 29349.
