Johnny Landrum Morgan, 66, of 8549 Fairforest Road, died after a brief illness, Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center with his wife, family and friends at his side.
Mr. Morgan was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 24, 1941, the son of the late John Landrum and Elizabeth (Kelly) Morgan. He was the husband of Sharon Revels Morgan.
He had retired from Amoco Fabric and Fibers and had worked at Tindall Concrete. He was a member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner with the "Hillbilly Clan". He was of the baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, John Morgan and his wife Pam of Spartanburg and Timmy Revels also of Spartanburg, two brothers, Tommy Morgan and his wife Carol of West Columbia, S. C. and Larry Morgan and his wife Nancy of Spartanburg, five grandchildren, Jeremy Morgan, Deena Isom, Kaci Morgan, Kailey Revels and Mallory Revels, three great-grandchildren, McKenzi Isom, Braden Isom and Madelyn Morgan.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday, January 5, 2008 with Revs. Eddie Burris, Matthew "Spanky" Burris & David Lancaster conducting the services.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2008 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
