Johnny Brent "Chuck" Bishop, 71, of 116 Country Club Court passed away Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Bishop was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 9, 1945, a son of the late Robert "Bob" and Margaret Alverson Bishop. Chuck was the owner and operator of Bob's Car Wash in Spartanburg, SC and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church. He served in the Army National Guard. Survivors include his son, Mike Bishop and his wife Colleen of Spartanburg, his daughter Holly Bishop West and her husband Mark of Pauline, SC and two grandchildren, Carson and Lylah Bishop. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Bishop. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 23, 2017, from Noon to 1:30 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Graveside services will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
