Johnnie Charles Brown, 76, of 630 Hickory Drive Startex, passed away Thursday, August 16th, at his residence. He was born in Chesnee on November 20, 1935,and was a son of the late Letha Mae Higgins and Johnny Mack Brown.. He was the husband of Donna Marie Bishop Brown.
He retired from Sybron Chemicals and was a member of Community Baptist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Startex Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Kathy Jane Brannon (John) of Woodruff, Ann Brookshire of Startex, Linda Owens (Ronnie) of Macon, GA, a brother, Roy James Brown of Spartanburg, two sisters, Louise Nicholson of Greer, Wilma Jean Bayne of Greer, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 4:00 Sunday, August 19 conducted by Rev. Bill Jolley and Rev. John Patterson. The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday 3:00 until 4:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Community Baptist Church, 8-A Windmill Drive Wellford, SC 29385.
