John Edward Wagner
Mr. John Edward Wagner, 78, of 7260 South Pine St. Pacolet, SC passed away Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Mr. Wagner was born in Evanston, Illinois on May 10, 1930, the son of the late Joseph Peter and Lillian Eleanor (Kallinowski) Wagner. He was the husband of Betty June (Cato) Wagner of 34 years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 daughters: Debra Prince and husband Wayne of Titusville, FL, Connie Kauffman and husband Ken of Savannah, GA, Debbie Loske of Micco, FL., 1 son: Stephen E Wagner and wife Sommer and 13 grandchildren.
He retired from the Florida East Coast Railroad after 30 years service, was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Pacolet, and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Inman Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 8th, with Rev. Bill Pickel and Rev Dennis Carter officiating.
