John Randall "Ace" Stephenson

On Sunday evening, February 9, 2025, John Randall "Ace" Stephenson, 66, of Boiling Springs, SC joined his beloved wife Debbie in their new heavenly home. Randy was a godly husband, father, Papa, cousin, and instant friend to all that he came in contact with. He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons: Jason (Mollie) Stephenson and Barton (Stephanie) Ledford; six grandchildren: Emery and Riggs Stephenson; Luke, Jack, Riley, and Michael Ledford; puppy dog, Maggie Mae; and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Deborah Lynn Stephenson, and his parents, John Willson and Becky Stephenson. Randy was born February 17, 1957, in Charlotte, NC, grew up in Rutherfordton and lived most of his life in the Spartanburg, SC area. He retired from Michelin US3, with over 30 years of service. In later years, he devoted himself to tending his pool and lawn, being able to fix pretty much anything, caring for his dogs, and watching his grandchildren grow up. He was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date yet to be determined.

The family also wishes to send a heartfelt thanks to friends and neighbors that cared for Randy and provided comfort over the past few months.
