Mr. John Richard Moss, Sr., 75, of 325B Jordan Creek Rd, Inman died Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Moss was born in Calhoun Falls, SC on October 2, 1933, the son of the late Richard Furman and Goldie Christine Hackett Moss.
He was the widower of Lucille Thompson Moss and was a Baptist. Other survivors include a daughter; Renee' Kind of Inman, two sons, John R. Moss Jr. of Savannah, Ga., Wayne Curtis Moss of Fingerville, a sister, Betty Whitehead of Arcadia, a brother, Hugo Moss of Lyman, six grandchildren, Mark and Sheri Kind, Curtis, Tia, and Cheyenne Moss, Nicki Reiser, and six great grandchildren.
He was retired from Startex Mills
Graveside services will be held at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 27th, conducted by Dr. David Lancaster. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of his daughter at 325 Jordan Creek Road, Inman.
