John Jeremiah "Jerry" Smith

John Jeremiah (Jerry) Smith, 62, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Jerry was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on March 19, 1963, a son of the late Mary (Mabry) Smith and John Smith.

Jerry worked as a security guard with Allied Universal and was a non-denominational Christian.

He is survived by two daughters, Varin Smith of Durham, North Carolina; Anna Smith, of Greenville, South Carolina; a son, Cam Smith of Spartanburg, South Carolina; two sisters, Mary Yeager, of Marietta, Georgia and Lee Ann Hopper, of Australia. He was predeceased by a sister, Susan Smith.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
