John Earl Humphries, 78, of Campobello, SC, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at his home. John was born in Campobello, SC on August 11, 1935, a son of the late Ruby (Jackson) Humphries and John D Humphries. He was the husband of Annie Gennievie (Green) Humphries. Mr Humphries was retired from International Wire and was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, John is survived by a daughter, Sonya Pleasant (Terry), of Wellford; a son, Barry Humphries (Joyce), of Inman, three grandchildren, Chris Humphries (Brandie), Craig Humphries and fiance' Meagan Ballard, Ana Alicia Pleasant-Lee (Robert), two great grandchildren, Gavin and Grayden Humphries. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 2:00 — 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10th, 2013 conducted by Rev Odell Moseley. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
