John Thomas Hannon, Jr

 John Thomas "Tommy" Hannon, Jr, 76, of 640 Spring Street, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Tommy was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 5, 1947, a son of the late Thelma (Melton) Hannon and John Thomas Hannon, Sr

He was the widower of Bonnie Marie Hannon, retired from Georgia Pacific and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Air Force. 

Tommy is survived by a daughter, Beth Alexander (Michael) of Moore, SC, five sisters, Jo Ann Singleton (George), of Winnsboro, SC; Betty Wood, of Roebuck, SC; Ruth Parker, of Gaffney, SC; Doris Hannon, of Inman, SC; Elaine Hannon, of Greer, SC; three brothers, David Hannon (Uncha), of California; Carroll Hannon, of Richmond, KY; Steve Hannon (Vickie), of Inman, SC, two granddaughters, Cali and Emily Clark. He was predeceased by a sister, Sandi Bryant and a brother, Ray Hannon.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 27th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Rev Joe Burnett officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
