Mr. John David "Crazy Dave" Foster, 51, of 9328 Asheville Highway, Inman passed away Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Foster was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 17, 1956, the son of the late Paul Foster and Lenna (Settle) McMakin who survives him of Inman, SC.
In addition to his mother he is survived by one son: Zach Foster of Greenville, SC, four sisters: Kathryn Stanfield of Inman, Shirley Bruce of Greer, Sylvia Campbell of Inman, Lynda Morrison of Spartanburg, one brother: Jerry A Foster (retired US Navy), two step-brothers: Keith and Vernon McMakin of Inman, a special niece: Jessica Lawson of Inman, a niece: Lisa Campbell, one great niece: Addyson Lawson of Inman and a granddaughter: Carys Foster.
He worked as a plumber at Mike Varner Plumbing Company and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church Inman.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 4th, with Rev. Josh Phillips officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Bagwell, Jonathan Lawson, Raymond Kelly, Mike Varner, Tim Steadman, Steve Roper. Serving as honorary escort will be "Crazy Dave's Boys" from Mike Varner Plumbing.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
The family is at the home of Jessica Lawson, 130 Old Settle Lane, Inman and will receive friends Tuesday 1:30-3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
