 John Mark Ferguson, 66, of 371 Hickory Hollow Road in Inman, passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at his residence.
John was born in Escondido, California on August 28, 1956, a son of the late Mary Larsen Ferguson and John Ferguson. He was the husband of Nancy Erickson Ferguson, who survives him, of the home.
John served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War and retired as a Ranger for The United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Managment. He was a Presbyterian. John had been supportive and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Patrick and Will Ferguson, both of California; two sisters, Mary Dorame of California, Elise Kilpatrick of Oklahoma; and a brother, David Ferguson of Utah.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation,  2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
