Mr. John Wayne Bayne, 71, of 871 Rock Hill Church Road died Saturday, October 15th, 2011.

Mr. Bayne was born in Inman, S.C. on August 15, 1940, the son of the late Newman Thomas and Carrie Mae Wright Bayne and was the widower of Marie Bowman Bayne.

He retired from Firestone Steel, now Spartan Steel and was a member of Mt Zion Tabernacle. He is survived by three sons, Hugh Wayne Bayne of Gaffney, Jimmy Harold Bayne of Blacksburg, Danny Ray Bayne of Blacksburg, a sister, Pauline Taylor of Inman, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

The family is at the home of Jennifer and Jason Cobb at 149 Scruggs Trail, Gaffney and will receive friends today, Monday, 6:00 - 8:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Tabernacle at 3:00pm on Tuesday, October 18th, with Rev. Kevin Mayfield and Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Tabernacle, 650 Miller Farm Road, Inman, SC 29349.
