Joey Julian Nichols, 58, of 275 Old Barn Road Campobello, SC, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on January 14, 1962, he was a son of Janet Ercelle (Cartee) Nichols, of Campobello, South Carolina and the late Jesse Julian Nichols.
Joey worked as a landscaper with Dodds Landscaping and was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a son, Joey Dewayne Nichols; daughter, Sandra Nichols Couch: son, Jesse Daniel Nichols; son, Anthony James Nichols; sister, Donna Louise Nichols; brother, James Eugene Nichols; brother, David Nichols; sister, Julie Ann Blackwell along with 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and one great granddaughter expected to arrive in August.
A private family service will be held.
