Joe Arthur McCutcheon, 69, of 127 Bria Court passed away Sunday, September 23rd, 2018, at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Joe was born in Union, SC on November 20,1948 and was the son of the late Arthur and Angie Caldwell McCutcheon.
He was the beloved husband of Susan Bledsoe McCutcheon and was a member of the Inman Presbyterian Church. He was a retired field specialist for Duke Energy with over 40 years of service. Joe was a mason with the Inman Masonic Lodge #201 AFM and a member of the Hejaz Shrine in Greenville, SC. He also proudly served his country in the SC Army National Guard.
In addition to his wife Susan, Joe is survived by two sons: Andrew McCutcheon of Boiling Springs, SC and fiance Melanie Horton, Jason Garland of Woodruff, SC and a brother, Tommy McCutcheon and his wife Vicki of Inman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary McCutcheon.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 2:00 to 2:50 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. John Pruitt. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 28105.
