Jody Ray Caldwell

Jody Ray Caldwell, 65, of 6371 New Cut Road, Inman, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at his home. 
Jody was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on February 22, 1958, a son of Lois Greer Caldwell, of Spartanburg and the late Ray Caldwell and was the husband of Dawn "Dee Dee" Harris Caldwell of the home. In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by a daughter; Amanda Caldwell Israel and her husband, Jacob, of Inman, a son; Cory Caldwell and his wife, Kierra, of Spartanburg, a brother; Len Caldwell his wife, Wanda, of Boiling Springs, and five grandchildren; Delaney Caldwell, Parker Caldwell, Roman Caldwell, Cruz Israel, and Daley Rae Israel.
He was the former owner of Image Collision Repair, prior to his selling it. He spent most of his adult life in collision repair businesses in Spartanburg and Greenville, then went on to other business endeavors, including, owning Holly Springs Hardware and Inman Lawn and Garden. His business goal was to always insure the customer was pleased and taken care of. He was a man of integrity, honesty, and always wanted to help others reach their full potential. The family describes him as the best husband, the greatest daddy and Pops to his children and grandchildren; a wonderful provider, and "a rock" for his family and extended family. To say he will be missed is an understatement.
The family is at his home and will receive friends 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM on Saturday, July 15th at Church at the Mill in Moore, where he and his wife attended. 
A Memorial Service will be held 3:30 PM on Saturday, July 15th at Church at the Mill in Moore with Rev. Bill Harris and Rev. Mark Lawing along with family members officiating.
