Mrs. Joda Verona Black Jett
Inman, SC--- Mrs. Joda Verona Black Jett, 71, of 1790 Little Mountain Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 11th, 2010 at Spartan burg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Inman, S.C. on April 29, 1939, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Diora (Mills) Black and was the wife of Robert L. Jett having celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Mrs. Jett was a LPN at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where she was employed for over 32 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Robert she is survived by three sons, Robert L. Jett, Jr. (Elizabeth A) of Inman, Milan S. Jett (Tonya) of Inman and Joshua T. Jett (Lorie) of Montana; three brothers, Steedly Black of Colorado, Waylon Black of Washington State, Wendall Black of Utah; and two sisters, Alice Wadman of California and Evangeline Lane of Georgia; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 7-9 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Spartanburg, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 15th. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church PO Box 170067 Spartanburg, SC 29301.
