Joann Mills Brown, 66, formerly of Chapel Street, Una, passed away Sunday, September 29th, at Brian Center in Brevard, N.C.
She was born in Polk County, N.C. on June 3, 1947, a daughter of the late Ruby Jane and J.D. Mills and was the widow of Jack Albert Brown.
She had formerly worked at Spartan Mills and was a member of Gospel Light Tabernacle in Spartanburg. She is survived by two daughters; Judy Petty of Inman, Teresa Ramsey of Boiling Springs, a son; Jack Junior Brown and wife Melissa of Spartanburg, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons; Roy Dean Brown and Jackie Brown.
The family is at 333 Marble Lane, Boiling Springs and will receive friends Tuesday 6-8:00PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Campobello at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 2nd, with Rev. Arnold Gahagan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
