Jo Ann Simmons

 Jo Ann Simmons, 73, of Inman, SC, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at her home, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in Spartanburg on July 31, 1949, she was a daughter to the late Troy and Lillie (Robinson) Lee. She was the widow of James "Dick" Simmons.

She is survived by a son, Edward W. Simmons and his wife Brandy; three daughters, Lisa Ivester and her husband Rick, Tammie Simmons, and Sandy Blackwell and her husband Kevin; two sisters, Jackie Lee and Betty Adair and her husband William; a brother, Doug Lee and his wife Teri; and six grandchildren, LeeAnn Magnuson and her husband Josiah, Brittany Simmons, Lillie Blackwell, Elizabeth Simmons, Emily Blackwell, and Brody Simmons; one great grandchild JoLee Magnuson. She is predeceased by a brother, Jesse Lee, and a sister, Belva Massey.

She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and retired as a registered nurse.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 16th at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Cowpens , SC with  with Rev. Steven Griffith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. View Christian Academy, 650 Battleground Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
