Jimmy Eugene James

Jimmy Eugene James, 89, of Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his home. Jimmy was born in Chester, SC on May 27, 1936, a son of the late Olivia (Griffin) and Calvin E. James. He was the widower of Mary Magdalene (Mobley) James. His survivors include, three sons, Kenny(Patricia), Bobby(Lori), Stanley(Vicki); twenty two grandchildren, Kristi, Ashley, Tabitha, Brandy, Casey, Elisa, Codie, Brianna, Lacie, Abbie, Samantha, Mandi, Sandi, Jason, Stacey, Derek, Justin, Corey, Jordan, Jesse, Will, and James; also an abundance of great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren and a sister, Judy McCarley. He was predeceased by, a son, Mark James; a grandson, Ricky Smith and a brother, Gerald James.

He was a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Inman Mills.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 12th at Whitney Free Will Baptist Church from 2:00 until 2:45 PM with a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM with Rev. Christopher White and Rev. Michael Durham officiating.
